Friends - DCM text challenge
Another challenge from http://www.daringcardmakers.blogspot.com/
The challenge was to use text in your card, and I used a printed sentiment that I received in a card kit, which I colour tinted with chalk, a silver inkpad, and a purple gelpen. I stuck three buttons on the front, and two lines of ribbon at the back.

Funky Flower
Another card of mine. I made this one for the Card for Cancer campaign, but it never got sent off. It's still being sold for charity though!

I took the idea of the bees from Winnie the Poo and worked with that. Also, I've had that ribbon for ages, and this seemed like a great use for it!

Buy buttons in bulk from Charity Shops. You never know what you're going to get and they're brilliantly cheap. Of course you do get a LOT of white shirt buttons, but you can always donate them back if you don't use them :)
